Lykes Cartage Company, Inc. provides this notice to employees in accordance with the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), as amended by the ACA.
Health Insurance Marketplace
As required by law, we are informing you that the Health Insurance Marketplace is available to help you and your family members shop for and enroll in health insurance coverage. The Marketplace offers a variety of plan options, and you may qualify for a tax credit to help pay for coverage.

Company-Sponsored Coverage
Lykes Cartage Company, Inc. offers health coverage to eligible employees. If you are eligible for employer-sponsored coverage, enrollment information is provided through your hiring paperwork and annual open enrollment communications. Contact your supervisor or the main office at (512) 933-9060 for details on current plan offerings.
Special Enrollment Rights
If you experience a qualifying life event — such as marriage, birth of a child, or loss of other coverage — you may be eligible for a special enrollment period outside the regular open enrollment window. Notify the company within 30 days of the qualifying event to request a special enrollment.
